Alexander Bolonkin&#8211;he of &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/0806.3792\" target=\"_blank\">In Outer Space without a Space Suit?<\/a>&#8221; and  &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/0804.0754\" target=\"_blank\">Floating Cities, Islands and States<\/a>&#8221; fame&#8211;is back with another startling idea.<\/p>\n<p>Methane is significantly lighter than air and so could be used to levitate the pipes it flows through.
